Hey guys!  I hope you all had a wonderful Halloween.

Halloween is such weird holiday.  Don’t ya think it’s a little strange to glorify death, dead people and scary things??  It’s also strange to let little kids go door to door at night asking for candy.

So weird.

Also, Kev and I went to the gas station the other night to get a drink and we saw a fake bloody finger mixed in with the straws.

Yes, our society is a little messed up.

But, with that being said….I love Halloween SO MUCH!  It’s such a fun holiday….in a weird, sick and twisted sort of way.

I look forward to Trick-or-Treating with my kids every year!  Last night the weather was pretty mild and we had a wonderful time.

My daughter dressed up as a nerd, along with all of her friends.  My son dressed up as some kind of scary guy (we just dug through the Halloween costume box the night before and came up with this!)

My cute little ones dressed up as a Red Power Ranger and the Green Ninja (from Ninjago.)  They were darling.

We’re all pretty much “die-hard” Trick-or-Treaters.  We were out for about 2 hours last night and had an absolute ball! Oh, and I counted Trick-or-Treating as my workout yesterday too, lol!

I have discovered some beauty products over the past 6 months that I JUST LOVE SO MUCH!  Each of these products are amazing and very affordable too.  Woo hoo.

Garnier BB Cream

I’d never heard of BB Cream until a good friend introduced me to this one several months ago.  Since then, it seems like every single brand out there has their own BB Cream!

In case you’re wondering, BB Cream stands for “Beauty Balm” and it’s an amazing “all-in-one” product!  It’s pretty much a primer, foundation, moisturizer and sunscreen all in one.  Garnier calls their BB Cream a “Miracle Skin Perfector” and I have to agree with that.  It really does seem to erase all of the “not so cute” things on my face.  I love it.

It goes on so easily and stays all day long.  I LOVE this stuff so much.  I’ve also tried a couple other brand’s BB Creams and they don’t even come close to this one.

I must mention, there is ONE thing I don’t love about this cream.  It feels very light when it goes on, but it seems to stay moist and then feels a little heavy.  It’s non-comedogenic though and will not make you break out.

Oh, and it comes in regular skin, oily skin and anti-aging varieties.  I’ve only used the regular version, but I just bought the anti-aging kind to try.  I bought my BB Cream at Wal-Mart for about $12.

HSI Professional Flat Iron

Okay guys, I’ve gone through a couple CHI Flat Irons and I’ve really loved them.  I don’t like spending $100+, however.  Sooooo, last year when my CHI died, I did a little research and found this amazing Flat Iron on Amazon!!  It was only $38.99 (+ free shipping!) and it’s every bit as good as my CHI, if not better!

I just checked and it’s still available on Amazon for $38.99 (retails for $199.99!)  There are almost 5,000 reviews and it has amazing ratings.  I would HIGHLY recommend this flat iron.  I LOVE it, love it, love it!  I use it all the time to straighten AND curl my hair.  Oh, and my daughter loves is too. 😉

Fahrenheit Blow Dryer

My blow dryer died a couple months ago, so I ran to TJ Maxx to pick up a new one.  I found this AMAZING blow dryer for only $25 and it said it retailed for almost $200 (that’s bogus, IMO.)  However, I just checked Amazon and it’s currently available for almost $100 there.

ANYWAY, I saw several of these blow dryers at TJ Maxx and I will probably only buy my blow dryers there from now on. This blow dryer seems to dry my hair more quickly and my hair looks shinier too!  It’s also extremely well made and looks and feels very high-end. I can’t believe I paid only $25!  Love it!  TJ Maxx is the bomb.

Physicians Formula 2-in-1 Lash Boosting Eyeliner + Serum

I was searching for a good liquid eyeliner a couple months ago and I found this.  It is the best eyeliner I have ever tried, hands down!  I’ve used several kinds of pencils, liquid and tub versions….none of them come close to this!

I bought it in black and it goes on so smoothly and easily.  It can easily be applied in a thick or thin line, AND it stays on!!  I also bought this about 3 months ago and it still works just as well as the day I bought it.  It hasn’t dried out at all.

It’s supposed to help your eyelashes grow too (bonus!) and I think mine are a little longer and fuller since I started using it.  So dang awesome.  I hope they never stop making this product. I bought mine at Target for about $11.00.

Pati Dubroff Luster Lips Lip Balm Crayons

A friend of mine recommended these lip crayons to me about a month ago, so I decided to try them out!  I found them in this 5 pack at Costco for about $15. They are amazing!!

I am not a fan of lipstick; it always seems to make my lips more dry and comes off so quickly.  These lip crayons go on just like a Chapstick and they STAY ON!  I also love each of the 5 colors so much!  I always add a little bit of lip gloss on top and it makes it look so pretty.  I think all the colors make my teeth look whiter too.  Awesome!!

I love these lip crayons and they could easily be given individually as a gift at Christmastime too.
