Happy Monday everyone!
I hope you all had a fun weekend. I told you guys in my last post that I was very tired and craving cookies, right? I’m happy to say I haven’t been as tired the past couple days (woo hoo!), but I still crave cookies!
I’m sure I’ll always crave them. I actually ended up making cookies on Sunday night and it made me happy. I didn’t take a picture though, dang it.
I’ve decided my goal for these last few weeks of pregnancy is to just NOT falter at the finish line. I’ve tried really hard to keep up a healthy lifestyle throughout this pregnancy. I’ve definitely had not-so-healthy (that’s putting it mildly) days and weeks, but for the most part I’m happy with my efforts. 😉
HOWEVER, I don’t want to completely fall apart here at the end and give back a lot of my hard work. So, I’m trying not to turn into an absolute piggy and I’m still trying to maintain some sort of an active lifestyle. I will do my best!

We’ve been very busy the past few days.
On Friday, my 6 year old had his last track meet (he’s in the gray shirt)…
My daughter went to ANOTHER church camp thingy for 4 days last week and my 10 year old attended Cub Scout Day camp for two days. Here he is after he returned on the first day. He was covered in dirt, but very happy!
I dropped off my 15 year old son at a week long church conference thing today called EFY (Especially For Youth.) It’s held at the University of Utah and he gets to stay in the dorms. The conference is for kids ages 14-18 and they participate in activities, classes, dances, and other fun things. He was so excited and I know he’ll have a great time.
AND, I totally forgot to take a picture of him when I dropped him off today! Dang.
However, since I was already in Salt Lake City, I decided we needed to meet Kev for lunch. So fun!
Soooo, we all headed over to City Creek Center (the coolest mall ever!) and had lunch at the food court.
Kev and I shared some yummy Greek food, including kabobs, lemon rice and salad. Everything was so good!
After we ate, we let the kids play on the fun Dinosaur Playground thingy there. They loved it.
My daughter took good care of her little brother…
My youngest is in the background of this picture and didn’t want to stop playing long enough for me to take his picture. There was also the CUTEST little girl I’ve ever seen in my life toddling around.
Oh my WORD guys, she had the most beautiful giant blue eyes and huge cheeks. She was also so teeny tiny and petite. She was SOOOO darling. I would’ve loved to have taken a real picture of her to show you guys, but I didn’t want to exploit someone else’s child. 😉
I did tell her parents how DANG cute I thought she was though. I also told them they should have 10 more children because they make such cute kids.
Ya, they probably thought I was weird.

On Friday night, we took the kiddos to Chick-fil-A’s Cow Appreciation Day. If you dress up like a cow, you get a free meal. So dang awesome.
AND with 5 kids, we always take full advantage! However, my oldest son didn’t come with us this time because he was busy running around with his friends. 🙁
I love Chick-fil-A and this is the third year in a row we’ve attended this event. You can read about our past two year’s experiences here and here if you so desire.
Here we are just getting ready to leave….
The cutest little cow kids ever (yes, I’m biased)….
Standing in line waiting to order…
While we were eating our dinner, we noticed my brother and his family were there dressed up as cows too!!!
Too funny! I told my bro how much I loved his “cute” Woody cow vest, lol. He and Kev commiserated with each other about the fact that they were dressed up as cows.
They didn’t’ complain about the free food though!
The Chick-fil-A Cow even gave Kev a free massage. Bonus.
We had a fun night, but never made it to 7-11 for free Slurpees, dang it.

I got a great workout in on Saturday morning though. Yay. I’ve been mostly working out from home these days because I feel like a sideshow when I go to the gym, lol.
I created a great total body strength training workout that I loved! It was actually fun, seemed to go by quickly and I could actually DO all of the moves. Yay. I also enjoyed watching TV while I exercised. Fun.
Here’s the workout I did. You can click on it to make it bigger.
I ended up completing 100 pushups (on my knees) and 100 lunges on each leg when it was all said and done. I’ve been so sore ever since. YAY!
I think I’ll do this same workout tomorrow. It’s a good one.
I also snapped my 35 week pregnant picture on Sunday…
I am so dang excited to meet our little baby (and have my body all to myself again!) I can hardly wait. Eeeeeee.
I also have to ask a favor of all y’all. I have been the Number One Health and Fitness blog on Top Mommy Blogs for a long time now. However, I’ve recently slipped to the #3 spot and it makes me so so so sad.
SOOOO, if you could “help a blogger out,” I would be eternally grateful. All you have to do is click on the image below and it counts as a vote for me! There is no “red tape,” “small print,” “spamming,” etc. Just click on the image and it gives me a vote…..and totally makes my day!
FYI, if you’re feeling extra generous, you can vote for me every time you visit my blog (you can only vote once per day.) you can just click on the Top Mommy Blogs icon in my sidebar.
I feel like a dweeb asking for your support, but it would seriously make me happy. Yes, I’m easy to please. I love you all so much!
AND, I need to get my pregnant bum into bed, so I will end this. I hope you all have a wonderful night!
