I hope you are all doing okay with all of the crazy things going on!
This is such an interesting and unique time. It’s very stressful, uncertain, boring, lonely and it’s definitely getting OLD, BUT it’s also made me realize how many things I’m grateful for that I used to take for granted:
- I’m really grateful for family and friends.
- I’m so grateful to have a warm, safe, comfortable home to live in.
- I’m very, very, very grateful for my health.
- I’m so grateful to have plenty of food, fresh water and toilet paper!
- I’m so grateful for my church and my faith in God and the comfort and peace that I can always find there.
- I’m so grateful to live in a clean, safe, comfortable community.
- I’m so grateful for wise, kind and good doctors, nurses and scientists.
- I’m grateful for a local and national government that although I’m sure they’re not always 100% awesome, I do believe they have our best interest in mind and are doing the best they can to lead us all in this crisis.
- I’m so grateful for funny people! I love all of the funny pictures, memes, quotes and thoughts I’m seeing all over social media.
- I’m so grateful for nature, fresh air and the beautiful world we live in!
- I’m grateful that right now I have time. Time to spend with my favorite people, time to relax and time to hopefully get all the stuff done that I never make time for!
There are so many more things that I’m grateful for, but these are the things that I’ve been especially grateful for during this time!

Well, since we are all stuck at home and missing human interaction, I decided to start doing some Live workouts on my Happy Being Healthy Facebook page!
For now, I’m going to do them every Tuesday and Friday at 10:00 AM Mountain Standard Time. I will also leave the workouts up on my Facebook page and you’ll also be able to find them here and on my YouTube Channel so you can do the workouts any time!
I really do not love working out from home! I just really don’t look forward to it and I always seem to procrastinate it! I also really really enjoy working out with other people, so I thought this would be the next best thing!
If I have to work out from home, I’m going to invite all y’all to join me!
I’ve also found that I’m much more likely to stick with a regular exercise schedule when I have a specific time that I have to work out. That’s why I really like to go to classes at the gym. They are at a certain time and I just gotta drop what I’m doing and get there!
Sooooo, doing these Live videos will really help me to be more consistent during this crazy time cuz I gotta show up to work out with you guys!
I’m going to keep the workouts to around 30 minutes, but they will not be easy! I promise to work your whole body and help you to get stronger and reach your goals!
I did my first Live workout on Tuesday,
Note: If you can’t access this video here, you can find the video here on my Facebook page or here on my YouTube channel and it should work there!
This one is just a great 30 minute (including warm up and cool down) Full Body HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) workout!
I am a huge fan of HIIT training because:
- It’s so efficient! You can burn a lot of calories in a short amount of time!
- It’s so effective! You can work multiple muscle groups at the same time + get a lot of great cardio in as well.
- Your metabolism stays high for hours after you exercise.
- You can lose fat and maintain or even gain muscle at the same time, which is hard to do!
- It’s a lot of fun because it’s always changing!
There are a lot of other benefits to HIIT, but these are the main things I love!
Sooooo, I’m going to go Live tomorrow morning at 10:00 AM Mountain Standard Time for another workout! Join me!
I hope you all have a wonderful night! In this lonely, isolated time, remember you are LOVED by me! I’m so grateful to each and every one of you for taking the time hop on my little blog. I love you all! Really, I do.
Leave a comment....I would love to hear from you!
