Last weekend I had the opportunity to visit Dallas Roberts Salon to get a much needed hair cut and color.
Dallas Roberts is a wonderful salon located in West Jordan, Utah. They offer hair cuts, color treatments, hair extensions, eyelash extensions, styling and more. They even have their own line of makeup (Tiffany Leigh Cosmetics) and offer makeup artistry work as well.
Needless to say, I was very excited to visit Dallas Roberts salon. My poor hair was also in major need of help.
I took this picture just before I headed out the door to the salon. As you can see, my roots had gotten very dark and my hair had just stopped “working.” It pretty much just laid there without any style to it whatsoever. 🙁
When I first arrived, I was warmly welcomed by Maile and Mandy and immediately felt at home and comfortable. I also brought my daughter/photographer along with me and everyone made her feel right at home too.
I was also impressed with the beauty and cleanliness of the salon.

I had the privilege of having Mandy do my hair. She was very nice, friendly and easy to talk to. She was also very competent and confident; I definitely felt like I was in good hands.

I think it’s always a bit scary to have someone new do my hair, but after talking to Mandy, I wasn’t worried at all. She asked me a lot of questions about what I was looking for and I asked her a bunch of questions about what she thought would look good on me.
Here are some very flattering pictures of the process, lol.
She highlighted my hair using two different colors and I really love how it turned out. I also wish Mandy could have washed my hair all day long! She gave me a little scalp massage and it was wonderful.
After my hair was colored and washed, she dried it and then gave me the much needed hair cut. She then styled and curled my hair, which I loved. I rarely take the time to curl my hair and it was so nice to have someone else (who knew exactly what they were doing) take the time to curl it!
Maile was also so sweet and offered to curl my daughter’s hair too and it turned out so cute. Here we are with our new ‘dos.
I was very happy with the way everything turned out. I love the brighter color and I’m thrilled to have hair that “works” once again.
Here’s a before and after shot. Unfortunately, when I got home it was dark so I wasn’t able to take my “after” picture in the same lighting, but I think you can still see the difference in color.
The past few days, I’ve been styling my hair straight-ish and it works well too.
Overall, I had a wonderful time at Dallas Roberts Salon. The salon is beautiful, clean and inviting and the staff is friendly, confident and very good at what they do.
