**Fabletics provided me with an outfit and The Laughing Cow provided me with product and a $10 gift card for this review. However, thoughts and opinions are my own and do not necessarily reflect those of the brands.**
Happy happy Friday everyone!!
I hope you all have fun plans for this evening/weekend. Kev and I are getting ready to head out to a movie in a little bit. I <3 weekends so so much!
Well, I first want to tell you all about a WONDERFUL activewear company that I really love….
Fabletics is a new monthly subscription-type company co-founded by actress Kate Hudson. I love Kate Hudson so much and am seriously in love with all the beautiful clothing as well!
To start, you take a quick lifestyle quiz to help Fabletics determine your style and taste. Then, Fabletics suggests outfits for you and you can buy things as a regular customer or sign up to be a VIP member to get great savings and perks.
If you sign up to be a VIP member, you can purchase an outfit each month starting at $49.95 (savings up to 40%) or you can skip the month altogether. You are never obligated to buy anything.
Also, your first 2 piece outfit is only $25 + free shipping! Woot!
Fabletics sent me two pieces of my choice to try out and review. I chose the Lima Capri in camouflage and the Leon Tank in black/ultra lemon.
As soon as I saw that cute camo print, I knew I wanted it! Fabletics has several different things in camo too; sports bras, shorts and several different styles of pants.
I absolutely love the thick black band at the top and the cute detail everywhere. They also fit perfectly! I ordered a medium and they are fitted without being too tight or restrictive.
I love the tank too! It’s a little bit longer length, which I LOVE! I also ordered a medium and it’s perfectly fitted without being too tight or revealing. I know it will be a wonderful staple in my workout wear.
I’m almost 12 weeks pregnant and am a little bit “thicker” than I usually am, but both of these pieces still fit great!
The fabric is also SO soft, well made and the perfect thickness. It’s not too thin or not too thick and bulky either. It’s just perfect. I was seriously so impressed with the quality and fit of both of these pieces.
I’m thinkin’ after the baby is here, I’m going to buy a bunch more things from Fabletics. I may use it as a motivator as I’m losing the weight afterward. FUN!

I also want to tell you guys about a fun package I received from Laughing Cow recently.
They sent me some White Cheddar and Creamy Swiss wedges along with their Cream Cheese spread wedges in Classic Cream and the new Chive and Onion flavor. They also sent me some bagel thins and pretzel crisps to try with the cheese.
I’m a huge fan of Laughing Cow and love to eat them with veggies and crackers or put them on my sandwiches or in my eggs. Yum.
I also love that the light cheese wedges are only 35 calories and the cream cheese wedges are only 45! Wow! There is a lot of cheese stuffed in the little triangle wedge too.
Laughing Cow also sent me a $10 gift card so I could purchase my own thing(s) to pair with the cheese. I chose to buy some fresh veggies (carrots, celery and peppers) because they are my absolute favorite thing to have with Laughing Cow wedges. I also bought some Whole Wheat Pita Bread so I could make some yummy homemade pita chips to have with the cream cheese wedges.
I have to say veggies haven’t sounded particularly yummy to me since I’ve been so sick with this pregnancy. BUT, if I pair them with Laughing Cow cheese they taste so good to me! They are the perfect little snack.
I also love how portable the cheese wedges are. Kev actually took several of them to work and enjoys them for lunch all the time.
Anyway, I thought I would tell you guys how I make my Pita Chips so you can all make them too! They are super quick and easy to make and all my kids love them too!
Homemade Pita Chips
(makes 32 chips)
- 2 Pita Bread pockets cut into small triangles (I cut each pita bread into 16 triangles.)
- Seasoned Salt, to taste
- Olive Oil
Start out with a the healthy pita bread of your choice.
I love this pita bread made by Papa Pita, but it’s a local company based in Utah. I like these pitas because they taste good and all of the ingredients are real! They do have 170 calories per pita though. Yikes. They are quite large though.
Using a pizza cutter, slice each pita bread into 16 small triangles.
Arrange triangles in a single layer on a baking sheet. Spray (or brush) with olive oil and then sprinkle liberally with seasoned salt.
Broil for 3-5 minutes until lightly browned (watch closely as they can burn easily!)
Remove pan from oven. Flip triangles over. Spray (or brush) the other side with olive oil and then sprinkle liberally with seasoned salt.
Broil for 1-2 more minutes or until lightly browned and crisp.
Serve with you favorite dip or spread!
These chips are so so yummy! In fact, yesterday my son had some of his buddies over and they were all hungry. I pulled out the leftover pita chips, veggies and Laughing Cow cheese and they loved it! It was the perfect thing for growing, starving teenage boys.
I was happy they enjoyed it so much AND it was healthy for them too! Win, win.
Well, I gotta roll! I hope you all have a great night!

Omg I want those camouflage capri leggings so bad!! I’m going to look at their site and I hope they aren’t too expensive! You always get such nice stuff…I’m jealous, haha!
Hope you are feeling better 🙂

I really, really love those leggings too! Unfortunately, I think they are sold out now. 🙁 I will check to see if they are going to get any more in. I think Fabletics prices are pretty reasonable, especially for the quality. Ya know, I think most of the companies that contact me find me because I’m listed on various blog lists and things. I’m also connected with various blog companies that put me in touch with different companies.

Those leggings are so cute! Also, you look fantastic. If I wasn’t a regular reader of your blog, I wouldn’t know at all that you’re pregnant just by looking at your pictures! I bought some Laughing Cow cream cheese wedges a while back and used it to make a healthy french toast using whole wheat bread. After making the french toast, I combined defrosted strawberries, the cream cheese, and a bit of raw agave nectar to make a strawberry cream cheese and then topped it with a bit of maple agave. So delicious!

Thanks so much! That strawberry, cream cheese french toast sounds heavenly!

Hey, this is Spencer’s Mom. Thanks for feeding the boys healthy snacks. He told me about your blog, and I have enjoyed reading it. Thanks for the good ideas! I don’t know if he has told you, but I am the “health nazi” at our house. It’s a constant battle to get kids to eat healthy, so I appreciate any Mom who makes it fun!
Melanie says
I’m so glad you found my blog! 😉 I didn’t know you were the “health nazi” at your house….love it! Spencer told me he wasn’t really a picky eater, which I thought was wonderful. We have a few picky eaters at our house. I hope you didn’t mind that I shared their pic on the blog; Spencer told me he didn’t think you guys would mind. 😉

I love the camp leggings!!! I might have to check out Fabletics just to get my own pair!!
And, those pita chips look good and easy! I always forget about Laughing Cow Cheese – we don’t have a huge selection at the grocery store here – maybe I need to check someplace else.

I have really loved those leggings too! Unfortunately, I think they are sold out on their website right now. 🙁 I hope they get some more in!

I’ve been hearing so many good things about Fabletics recently! I’ll have to try it out. Your outfit is super cute! I love the Laughing Cow so much but I haven’t tried the products you have there. The problem in NYC is that groceries only stock one or two products from each brand. Space issue I guess! I love the homemade pita chips!
Melanie says
So far I’ve been very impressed with Fabletics! That’s interesting about NYC grocery stores. I love NYC SO MUCH though. You’re so lucky to live there!
