I hope you are all doing okay out there!
My heart and mind are very concerned about the uncertainty and turmoil in the world. It’s overwhelming to have this worldwide pandemic going on and to feel so helpless against it.
Other than social distancing, washing our hands and being mindful of our actions, there’s not a whole lot we can do!
Actually, this weekend our church is having it’s Semi Annual General Conference, which consists of several meetings on Saturday and Sunday where we hear inspiring messages from our church leaders. I look forward to it so much!
Today our prophet and President of our church asked for a worldwide fast this Friday (Good Friday), April 10th. He encouraged everyone, both members of our church and those who are not of our faith, to join.
I usually don’t talk about my faith and religion on this blog and I respect each and every one of you and the beliefs you have. However, I believe there is great power in fasting and prayer, so if any of you would like to join in this fast on Friday, I would love you to!
So although most of us are pretty helpless in the midst of this pandemic, there are certainly some things we can do! We can all unite our faith and ask God to heal the world and help with this crisis.
In fact, that is probably one of the most powerful things we can do.

Well, as I’ve felt quite overwhelmed with all that is going on all about us, I’ve found great peace in my home and with my family. I’m so grateful for this time I have to slow down and really focus on what is most important.
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed being home and spending time with my family. It’s been nice to cut out so many of my responsibilities and get caught up on a few things I’ve been wanting to do for a long time!
There are certainly a lot of blessings and a lot of things to be grateful for.

Last Tuesday I did a 40 Minute HIIT workout that was a lot of fun and worked the whole body.
I really love HIIT workouts because they are so efficient and so effective! You get a lot of bang for your buck!
Here’s what I did in this workout….
45 seconds on, 15 seconds off
🔹 Thrusters
🔹 Biceps: curls/across the body/rotate back
🔹 Jumping Jacks

🔹 Single-arm Snatch
🔹 Shoulders: military press/upright rows/bent-arm side raises
🔹 Frog Jumps
X3
🔹 Man Makers
🔹 Triceps: single-arm overhead triceps extension/other arm/two-arm overhead triceps extension
🔹 Kettlebell (dumbbell) swings
