Hello my friends!
Ya know, the past few days I’ve been so sad as I’ve read about all of the riots going on in Minneapolis and in other places in our country. There were even some riots that broke out this evening in Salt Lake City, not too far from my home. 🙁
The world can be such a sad, scary place sometimes and it just seems to feel extra heavy amidst all of the other heavy stuff already going on! What happened to George Floyd was absolutely horrific and unjust, but I will never understand how rioting helps anything….at all.
Makes me so sad.
Ya know, most of the time I choose not to even read or watch the news. When the pandemic first started, I read the news several times a day. Now, I just don’t. Sometimes I prefer to live under a rock.
BUT, I don’t want to dwell on all of the negatively in the world. It’s just been heavy on my heart tonight. Just thought I’d share my thoughts.
Stay safe.

On a brighter note, I will share a few fun pictures.
My boys wanted to go on a bike ride earlier this week. My ten and twelve year olds rode their bikes and I pushed my five year old in the jogging stroller.
Ha ha, yes I know he barely fits!! He technically still fits within the weight limit and quite frankly, he is my last baby and I’m going to eek out all of the “baby” in him that I can, lol!
Last baby mom probs. Ha ha.
We ran/biked over to Subway, which is about a mile from our home. We bought our sandwiches and then ate them on the grass. It was actually a lot of fun!
The dog came with us too and you can see how happy he was!!
It was a fun little outing and I’m so glad we went!
I also went on a walk with the dog a few nights ago and it was wonderful!
I never go on walks just by myself, but it felt so nice.
The weather was perfect and I just spent the time unwinding, thinking and just talking to myself. I know, I’m weird. I actually talk to myself all the time!
It’s actually very therapeutic. 🙂
Ya know, I’ve actually never really taken the time to go on a lot of walks. Sadly, I don’t think I realized how amazing and wonderful they can be! I used to think I should be running, getting a workout in or just being more productive!
There is something so beautiful and wonderful about not “doing” anything and just walking, soaking up the beauty of the earth and just enjoying nature and being outside. I LOVE it!
It might just be my new favorite thing.
With this whole quarantine thing, we had to get creative…so we started going on walks just to get out of the house. Who knew I would end up loving them so much????
I’m also so glad I was able to go on a few walks with my beautiful daughter before she left on her mission. Those are memories I will always cherish.
BTW, my daughter is doing so well and I’m so happy! We’ve been able to talk with her twice a week and she is doing great. I miss her, but I’m so proud of her. I’m definitely starting to cope with her actually being gone so much better. Thank heavens.
Oh, and here is another random picture I took this week…
Kev was playing with and tickling the boys and they all ended up in a big dog pile! I love all my boys!!!

Well, today I wanted to share an Upper Body workout that I did on my Facebook page a little while ago.
It’s only about 30 minutes long, but it is efficient and effective! I love working upper body. It feels so empowering to me!
And folks, strength training is where it’s at! If you want to build muscle, tone up, lose fat and just strengthen your body…..lift weights and lift heavy!
I really feel like it is the fountain of youth!
Soooo, here’s my workout. I hope you enjoy it!!
I hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend. Live life to the fullest and look for joy and beauty all around you! xoxo
Leave a comment....I would love to hear from you!
