Jamie Eason’s Live Fit Trainer!

March 13, 201311 Comments

First off, I have to say that Daylight Savings Time is kicking my can!

I know it’s only an hour, but MAN I have been draggin’!  My oomph and motivation have been zapped.  My kids have also been draggin’.  I’ve had to pull them out of bed in the morning and they are major grumps at night.  It’s joyous. 😉

It also doesn’t help that Kev and I were up until almost 1:00 AM Monday night watching the Bachelor finale!  Auughh.

I love watching the Bachelor.  Kev and I always stay up late to watch it (after the kids go to bed) so we can actually ENJOY it.  It’s definitely a sleep killer.  However, I must say this was one of my favorite seasons ever.  Sean is a class act and I’m very happy with his choice too.  Such a cute, solid, down-to-earth couple.  Love it.

I’m really not a huge fan of Desiree though and am not too stoked they picked her to be the next Bachelorette.  Bummer.  🙁

K, moving on……

I have embarked on a new workout journey and I’m very excited about it!  I LOVE Jamie Eason and have wanted to try her Live Fit 12 week trainer for a long time.

Jamie Eason 12 week trainer

It is such an amazing program full of incredible information!  It’s basically a sensible, healthy eating plan combined with FREAKING HARD workouts!  Woo hoo.

I’m not going to follow the eating part though because I already eat a fairly healthy diet, but I’m going to follow her workout plan to a T.

I am also just going to do the last 8 weeks of the program because she said the first 4 weeks are more for beginners and people who haven’t been lifting weights.

I’m basically going to work out 6 days a week.  Most of the workouts include mega weight training and a little bit of cardio.  You work out different muscle groups each day.  Kev and I are doing it together and it is killer, but I LOVE it!

It is just what I need right now.  I LOVE going to my classes at the gym, but I think I’ve gotten into a little bit of a rut.  I’ve just been doing the same ‘ol thing for a very long time.

I’m still going to go to two of my classes each week, but I’m going to put my other two classes on hold for right now.  🙁  The two classes I’m going to go to include a TON of cardio, so I’m going to count them as my cardio for the day.  The two classes I’m not going to go to are basically weight training classes, so I’m going to hold off on them for a bit.

Kev and I started these workouts on Monday and we are both dying.  I’m sore everywhere and it’s great.  I love that I can fit it into my schedule whenever I want.  I also love having a fun workout partner.  I took a couple pics of our workout the other day…

I’m hoping to tone and tighten up a bit and build a little more muscle.  I’m keeping my fingers crossed. 😉  I hope I don’t end up looking like a man, but I don’t think I will.  I’ve been trying to build muscle FOREVER and it is tough!  I of course, will let you know of my progress.  I’m so excited.

Well, that is all for now!  It is SUNNY and WARM today, so I’m going to enjoy the rest of my day with my cute kiddos.  Have a wonderful day!

xoxo

Ok, so totally concur about the bachelor! Best season yet! But I live in the west coast so I only had to stay up until 11pm.

I loved it, but we didn’t start watching until after 10. We didn’t want to get interrupted a million times by the kiddos. 😉

I did the 12 week trainer last year at this time…the same time I was training for my half marathon. I ate like crazy…which was fine, since I was burning up a bagillion calories. It is a great routine. 🙂

I like Des! I liked Sean at first, but I did feel he strung along the girls. I think he really just didn’t know what to say though. I think they actually could work…he and Catherine. Ashlee was my pick, but, on well! I like Catherine too.

So far, I’ve LOVED this 12 week trainer! Yay! I’m so glad you liked it as well. I have been starving too!

I don’t know why I don’t love Des. I don’t not like her, but I just don’t love her. Ashlee was my fav as well, although I thought she got a little psycho near the end. I’m so happy for Sean and Catherine. I really didn’t think he would pick her, but I’m so glad he did! 😉

I look forward to reading what you think about the program. There are so many options out there and I’m looking for ideas on including more weight training with my half marathon training. Good Luck from a fellow GGSA and SPA!

I like to switch it up, so I really enjoy Jamie Eason and others on BodyBuilding.com. I am also a fan of Jillian’s workouts. Right now I am trying some Cassey Ho for something different. She is fun…a little over the top sunshine, but she hits different muscles.

I love Jillian too! I’ve never heard of Cassey Ho. I’ll have to check it out. Thanks for the tip!

I came across Jamie Eason’s Live Fit Trainer last week. I love the workouts and the recipes Bodybuilding.com has.

I have been taking Body Pump 2-3 times a week for the past 3 months and am happy with the results I’m getting, but I’m looking to build more upper body strength. I don’t want to look like a man, but I would definately like a more muscular look in my arms. I’m interested to hear your thoughts about the program after you are finished.

Oh my gosh, so far I have LOVED Jamie Eason’s workouts! They’re tough, but I know they will be effective. I’m also trying to build more upper body strength (without looking like a man), and I think this will do it. I’m also trying to eat as well as I can (struggling a little though) because I don’t want to undo all the hard work I’m doing! I will keep you posted with what I think. Good luck!
