Maclaren, the premium stroller company, recently teamed up with BMW, the luxury car company, to create an amazing stroller that combines form, function and fashion all in one.
Maclaren also recently sent me one of these new BMW Buggys to try out and review! It’s a beautiful buggy, but it’s also extremely well made and loaded with a ton of features that I love:
- First off, I love all the strategically placed BMW logos. There is one placed on the buckle, the back of the canopy, the canopy latch and on each wheel.
- I absolutely LOVE the buckle on this buggy. It’s very easy for an adult to fasten and unfasten, but it’s not so easy for a child to do. It’s also designed in such a way that it would be very hard for little fingers to ever get pinched. I love that!
- I also love that the stroller is designed to look like a real BMW. First off, check out the similarities in the wheels…
How cute it that!?
I also love the removable bucket seat liner that’s designed to look just like the bucket seats in a Beamer!
Here are some other features that I love:
- It’s lightweight: It only weighs 12.4 pounds.
- The seat can recline very easily and can almost lay flat.
- The large canopy is water-resistant and opens and retracts very easily. AND, it stays in place!
- The handlebars are tall and make it very comfortable to push and maneuver the buggy.
- The braking system is the best I’ve ever seen! Both brakes can be engaged or disengaged very easily by just using one foot.
- The buggy folds very quickly, easily and compactly. I was especially impressed by this because it has all the amenities of a full-size stroller, but it folds down very compactly like an umbrella stroller. Love it! Plus, it has a carrying strap that makes it very easy to transport as well.
I pretty much love everything about this buggy! I especially love the quality and functionality of it. It is extremely durable and maneuvers like a breeze.
The only thing I didn’t love is that the shopping basket underneath is very small and hard to access. It can really only hold a few small things. However, this buggy has so much “up side”, that I can easily overlook the small basket.

We had a lot of fun testing out our new BMW Buggy.
I pushed my 3 year old in it while we walked my older son to and from preschool. It was a very sunny day and I loved the large canopy that shaded my son very well.
We took the BMW Buggy on a walk around a nearby lake and stopped to feed the ducks…
I took the buggy shopping too…
We traveled with it on our recent trip to St. George and it was very easy to transport and take in and out of our van…
My sweet baby also liked to use his own steering wheel to pretend he was driving the BMW!
Overall, we have really enjoyed the Maclaren BMW Buggy. I only wish I had it 5 kids ago!

Maclaren sent me the buggy to review, but the opinions expressed are, as always, entirely my own.

It is a very nice stroller! I’ve loved it. Yes, I get to keep it…I’m just sad I didn’t get to enjoy it with all my kiddos. 😉

hi,
does the stroller lie flat?
Melanie says
It’s not completely flat (it’s recommended for babies 6 months+), but it lays back far enough that babies could be very comfortable when taking a nap.
