K, so yesterday morning I opened my fridge and found a whole bunch of almost dead produce in there. I really, really hate wasting food, so I decided to execute Operation #DontLetTheProduceDie. Ha ha. I pulled everything out, other than a big bag of carrots, container of baby spinach and bag of cauliflower because they were not quite dead yet. **I have to chuckle when I say that because I can’t help but think of Monty Python. Ha ha. I’m not even a fan of Monty Python, but they sure have some great one-liners! Anyway, for your viewing pleasure, here’s Continue Reading…
Simplifying Life + Easy and Healthy Chicken Salad Recipe
Happy Friday!!! I know I always say that whenever I blog on Fridays, but I think there’s reason to celebrate every…single…time! I have a bunch of random things to share with y’all today! First off, I believe this pic sums up my life perfectly these days… These two cuties are my constant sidekicks and I LOVE them both SO much! My sweet baby is pretty much with me 24/7 and my poor doggie feels replaced. Whenever I sit down anywhere, Jimmer (the dog) is immediately right beside me. I love it. Oh, and my life is SO crazy these days Continue Reading…
A Cute Baby, Mini Babybel Cheese, Great Workouts and Frustrations with Weight Loss
Good morning and Happy Monday! I have wanted to eat this little baby up all morning long! It’s tough to take a picture of a baby while you’re holding him, BTW! Oh, and that little tuft of hair poking out on the right side of his head??? Well, I think it’s just the cutest thing! Yes, I’m weird. He is so much fun right now. He’s been a BIG fan of food lately. It cracks me up. Whenever I eat anything, he gets so excited! His eyes follow my food or drink from the plate/cup to my mouth and he Continue Reading…
My Whole 30 Experience and Results
Okay folks, I finished Whole 30 over THREE weeks ago and I’m finally getting around to blogging about my experience, results, tips, etc! Yay. First off, I would like to say that I LOVED Whole 30! It was so good for me physically, of course, but it was also great for me mentally, emotionally and even spiritually. I learned so much about myself and also formed some habits that I will continue forever. I also need to warn y’all that this post may be VERY LONG! I have a lot to say, so I hope I don’t bore you all Continue Reading…
Clean Eating + Elli Quark Cheese + a Cute Visor + Running is Hard
Happy Monday y’all! I’m about a week into my “3 Months, No Crap” plan and it’s going great! For the most part it hasn’t been too hard. It kind of reminds me of going on a “long run” instead of a sprint. I like to think of it as a “slow and steady” way to lose weight, get in shape and improve my overall health. I’m also hoping to form some long-term lifestyle habits. Sooo, because it’s a long-term plan and not a “get fit quick” kind of thing, I’m trying to celebrate the little triumphs. For example… Kev and Continue Reading…
