It is late and I need to go to bed, but I have a bunch of random things/pictures to share with you all! Soooo, here goes nothing… This little chubkins had his 4 month check up yesterday! He is now 16 pounds, which is the 75th percentile and he was in the 92nd percentile for height. He is a big, squishy, darling boy! I love his cute big brother as well, who is also growing up way too fast! Oh, and I just want to mention that I ran on the treadmill yesterday, showered, threw on some clothes and a Continue Reading…
MoTab Christmas Concert, Fun Stuff on the Internet and Daily Healthy Goals
I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! On Thursday night, Kev and I were able to take two of our boys to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir Christmas concert. It was fabulous! The MoTab Christmas concert is always so well done. First off, it’s held in the Conference Center, which is an absolutely amazing building! It seats about 21,000 people and my boys were in absolute awe. My older son’s face pretty much says it all! Each year, the Tabernacle Choir invites special guests to perform with them. This year they invited Broadway star Santino Fontana (he also played Prince Continue Reading…
Cute Kids, Healthy Eats and Deep Thoughts about the Gym
Hey guys! I haven’t been able to blog for a while, so I have a bunch of random things to share! First off, this cute little duffer got glasses last week… He’s the first person in our family to wear glasses, including Kev and I, so I feel like a complete “glasses newb.” FYI, he had a bit of a lazy eye so I took him to an ophthalmologist to get it checked. The doctor discovered that my son was a little bit farsighted and he thinks his eye was wandering in an effort to focus better. The glasses are Continue Reading…
A Wonderful Thanksgiving, a Challenging 5K and a Fun Family Adventure
Hey everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We had a great Thanksgiving and I really enjoyed the long weekend. I loved getting a little more sleep and spending time as a family. We’ve all had a hard time getting back to a “normal schedule” this week though! I’ve been singing this song to my kids every morning… But instead of singing, “Breaking up is hard to do,” I’ve been singing “Waking up is hard to do!” Ha ha. Very, very true. I’ve been singing it to myself too. 😉 ****************** I started my Thanksgiving off running the Continue Reading…
Healthy Thanksgiving Tips, an Inspirational Transformation and a New Gym!
Happy Thanksgiving Eve! I hope you all have fun plans for tomorrow. We’ll be spending the day enjoying a traditional Thanksgiving dinner with my parents, siblings and a bunch of my aunts, uncles and cousins. Soooo fun and soooo yummy! I will also be running a Thanksgiving Turkey Trot with Kev and my 11 year old son. I’m really looking forward to it and the weather is supposed to be beautiful! I really wanted to run the 10K, but my body did not. Soooo, I’ve been affectionately calling our “Turkey Trot” a “Chicken Trot” because I’m too chicken to run Continue Reading…
Refocusing, Recommiting, Planning and Goals!
Happy Monday! We had a nice, relaxing weekend. On Saturday, Kev and I took our older kids to see the new Hunger Games Mockingjay movie. I really liked it! I’ve never read the books, but my kiddos have. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed all of the Hunger Games movies. They are so well done and so well cast. I love them! I also told my kids that sadly, the Hunger Games story offers a great view of history and government. The movie and characters seem so farfetched, but unfortunately things have happened and are happening in the world that closely resemble some Continue Reading…
