I’m still patiently impatiently waiting for baby to arrive! I’ve become quite paranoid and suspicious of every little ache and pain, but so far nothing’s happening. 🙁 We’ve had a lot of fun things going on the past few days though. Today is my sweet husband’s birthday and tomorrow is our 18th wedding anniversary! I’m actually hoping baby doesn’t come today or tomorrow so he can have his own “special” day. We’ll see. Soooo, as long as baby doesn’t decide to arrive tonight, Kev and I are planning on going on a date! Fun. I just have to say that Continue Reading…
My Pregnancy Journey (that’s just about over…woo hoo!)
Hey everyone! Yes, baby is still “cooking,” but I definitely feel like a ticking time bomb! He literally could be born ANY day now! I’m SO excited and a little lottle bit nervous. Eeee. However, I’m happy to say that I’m READY for him to come and I’ve gotten everything done that I’ve wanted to get done! First and foremost, Kev and I were able to go to the Paul McCartney concert Thursday night! I am sooooo happy we were able to go! It was such a great concert and I LOOOOOOVE Paul so so so much! Our seats were Continue Reading…
Mini Babybel Cheese and Healthy Lunchbox Ideas
Happy Wednesday! I started my morning off with a delicious breakfast that I LOVED! Two fried eggs topped with avocado and a little cheese with a side of buttered toast. YUUU-MMMMY! This breakfast took me just a few minutes to make and it kept me full for quite a while. Oh and Kev found this bread at Costco and it is the best toast bread ever! It’s made by Aspen Mills, which is a local Utah company. It seriously tastes just like homemade. I’m also lovin’ the ingredients….100% Stoneground Whole Wheat Flour, Water, Honey, Salt, Yeast. That’s it. Yes, it Continue Reading…
Getting the Last Few Things Done Before BABY + I Can’t Wait to Deflate!
Kev and I went to Costco last night. Yay. I was all out of lettuce (the horror!) and pretty much all of the typical yummy produce I love to have on hand. Soooo, we loaded up…. I got romaine lettuce (yay!), pineapple, peaches, bananas, avocados, apples, tomatoes, raspberries and grapes. AND, I forgot to get bell peppers AGAIN. Gah! We also loaded up on a bunch of not-so-healthy, yet very convenient kid-friendly things so we’ll have plenty of options after baby is here. We have a LOT of mouths to feed and I KNOW we’ll be on “survival mode” for Continue Reading…
Crazy Life + Getting Ready for BABY!
Well guys, my life has been INSANE! I seriously don’t remember a more busy summer. We’ve had so much fun though. We’ve had a bunch of my family in town the past couple weeks and have had so much fun running around with them. My little sister left yesterday and I told myself that as soon as she left, I had to shift into baby mode 110%! Sooooo, today I’ve been working on Project BABY! I pulled out the bassinet, swing, bouncy seat, baby bathtub, toys, blankets and all the clothes from the basement. I’ve spent the majority of my Continue Reading…
Livin’ Up Summer + Healthy Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins
We’ve been having a lot of fun the past few days. We’ve definitely been living up summer!! We went to a reservoir near our house yesterday with my brother, sister and their families. Everyone had a BALL! The kids had such a fun time playing in the water… My 6 year old thought he was indestructible in that life jacket though! I think I had about 13 nervous breakdowns as I watched him play in the water. I’m such a paranoid mom, BTW. You think I’d chill out a bit after having so many children, but I DO NOT. Kids+water=Stressed Continue Reading…
