Craziness, a Wonderful Concert and Healthy Baked Chicken Nuggets

December 14, 201312 Comments

I have been a busy, busy lady!  I told y’all my goal for this week was to have all my Christmas shopping done and my Christmas cards ordered, right? Well, I worked my bum off and gave it a valiant effort, but sadly I’m not quite done.  🙁  I have two more stores to go to and I need to run to the Post Office to mail some stuff….then I WILL be done. As far as the Christmas cards go, I haven’t even started them yet.  I’m hoping to work on them tomorrow.   Auuuughhh…so much to do and too little Continue Reading…

December 11, 201320 Comments

Good evening friends! I hope you’re all enjoying the holiday season.  I’ve been running around like a crazy lady trying to get all my shopping done.  It’s been fun…sort of! Well, I realized I never told you guys about the fun overnight getaway Kev and I went on a couple weeks ago.  It was SUCH a fun adventure! First off, he completely surprised me with everything which I thought was so sweet.  When I came home from picking up the kids from school, my daughter handed me a note.  It pretty much said I was getting “kidnapped” in just over Continue Reading…

I Love Christmas, but it Makes my Life Crazy!

December 5, 201320 Comments

Hi friends! I must say life has been (and will continue to be) a little bit CRAAAAZY!  I have a ton going on this week and the goal is merely to survive. Geeesh. I love, love, love Christmas so much, but it makes life crazy doesn’t it?? I went to a fun “Girls Night Out” Christmas party with a bunch of my friends from church on Tuesday night. We went to Archibald’s Restaurant (cutest place ever!) at Gardner Village and it was so much fun. I love all my friends so much. I ordered the Cobb Salad (I’m a sucker Continue Reading…

Getting Back to Healthy Again

December 2, 201325 Comments

Well, we are back from our fun Thanksgiving trip to Oregon.  We had a wonderful time, but it’s always so nice to be home. Last week was such a crazy week!  Kev and I went on our little overnighter on Tuesday and then we were out of town the rest of the week. I pretty much lived “high on the hog” (no pun intended, but wait….I think that pun is very appropriately named, lol!) all week long!  Kev’s mom made homemade bread, french toast with that homemade bread, amazing whole wheat waffles (I need to share the recipe with you Continue Reading…
