I love health and fitness! I love getting a good night’s sleep! I love eating well and discovering new healthy recipes! I love getting a good workout! I love pushing myself and achieving my goals! YAY! But, even though I love it….it is NOT easy! Homemade Pizza & Pizza Sauce!

Oh my WORD….I’m so sorry I’ve been neglecting this little blog!  Yes, I’m still alive!!  I’ve decided I need about 14 more hours each day….without kids….and with no distractions. A Little Strawberry Love

I bought myself a big ‘ol bag of frozen strawberries from Costco the other day.  They are amazingly huge, beautiful, big red strawberries!  I am impressed. So, I’ve been busy cookin’ up some yummy strawberry goodness!  I’ve made my Strawberry Milkshake Protein Shake a couple times. Man, is it good!  Seriously, if you close your eyes while drinking it (so you won’t see the pretty greenish-brownish color), you’ll think you’re drinking a real Strawberry Milkshake!  I’m serious! The magic is in the tablespoon of Sugar-free vanilla pudding mix!  It really thickens it up and gives it a yummy, yummy flavor! Continue Reading…

Banana Bread Protein Pancakes!

I’ve decided I must be gettin’ old. On Wednesday we took the kids to Lagoon (our local Amusement Park) to enjoy the last little bit of summer we have left.  We spent the whole day there (11:00 AM-10:00 PM) and just played and played and played!  My sister and her kids met us there and spent most of the day with us too.  We had such a great time. I have had the craziest workout week!  My favorite gym instructor (I go to her class twice a week) has been on vacation and my schedule’s been so crazy that I’ve had to miss some of my regular classes.
