Mint Chocolate Chip Protein Shake

Mint Chocolate Chip Protein Shake

This shake is the bomb.  I know the chocolate chips are a little indulgent, but they made the shake so so yummy!  Here’s what’s in it.

  • 1 C. Unsweetened Almond Milk (or liquid of choice)
  • 1/2 scoop Vanilla Protein Powder
  • 1 T. Ground Flax Seed
  • a couple drops peppermint extract (not too much!)
  • a pinch of xanthan gum (necessary to achieve the thick, ice creamy texture!)
  • 2 big handfuls baby spinach
  • 1 T. Mini or regular Chocolate Chips
  • 15-18 Ice Cubes (if you want your shake to be thinner, use less ice)

Throw it all in the blender and mix it up!
