Hello darling friends! I hope you are all doing well.
I’ve been loving this fall season! I say ALL THE TIME that I’m so grateful to live in a place that has four distinct seasons because I really enjoy each one. Although, winter is a tad bit too long IMO. Ha ha.
I just love feeling the crisp fall air, seeing the pumpkins and Halloween stuff everywhere and just the whole “feel” of fall. I want to soak up every day!

Well, life is going well! We’re always busy, of course. It’s interesting though because I can feel myself transitioning into a different phase of life. My “baby” is five and I’m so grateful to have him as my little sidekick! Although, I know how quickly he is growing up and it’s super duper weird to not have little babies and to know that I’m not going to have any more babies!
It’s a good thing….just weird. The interesting thing I’m noticing is that I can start to do more stuff FOR ME and I can start to focus on more of MY goals! I can actually aspire to getting some things done that I’ve wanted to get done for, oh like…..the past decade or two!
It’s actually pretty dang awesome, although I do find myself mourning the fact that I’ll never be a young mom ever again. That’s not all bad, it’s just strange.
I can actually visualize myself as a grandma now too! Whaaaaaaa? SO FRIGGIN’ CRAZY folks! Life is nuts.
Okay, I didn’t actually intend to talk about any of this today! Ha ha! I just shared all of the random thoughts that are kickin’ around in my brain today!
Moving on…..
I’ve really been enjoying my exercise schedule lately. I’ve been loving teaching my exercise classes on Monday and Wednesday mornings with my friends in my neighborhood. It’s been so fun!
I also have some classes at my gym that I love so much and I actually look forward to going to! BTW, that’s a huge key to stickin’ with a regular exercise program…FIND A FORM OF EXERCISE that you LOVE!
Exercise is hard work and you’re less likely to stick to it if you don’t enjoy it! I actually really love the classes I go to. I can’t say I feel like going every single time though! There are plenty of days when I’m seriously draggin’ and just don’t feel like it….but I go anyway!
I’ve also been going to a yoga class most Tuesday nights that I’m really enjoying….
Namaste!
Oh, and one of my other favorite things is that my gym has a bunch of massage chairs that are sooooo heavenly! If I have the time, I LOVE to hop on one for 10 minutes after my classes.
OH, it feels so good! My muscles and my mind love it! It feels so nice to sit in a dark room and just veg in the massage chair for a bit. Also, when I go after my class, Jeopardy is always on the TV. I love Jeopardy! I’m a serious trivia geek!
It really feels so nice and is something I look forward to. I soak up every minute….even though it’s only 10 minutes! Ha.

Well today I thought I would share some of the things I love at Costco! Yay!
I really love Costco guys! I love the environment, I love the incredible quality and value of all of the stuff they sell and I love the samples!
Seriously though, I love that they sell so many healthy things, so many organic things at decent prices and so many unique things! LOVE!
SO, here are some of the things I picked up recently that I’m lovin’ (some are things I buy regularly, some are things I buy once in a while and some are things I bought for the first time!)…..
BREAD! The bread on the left (Granny’s Delight) is the bread that I buy for my kiddos all the time. It’s their favorite, it’s decently healthy (all real ingredients), it’s made locally, it makes good sandwiches and toast and it’s just a good all-around bread!
Here are the nutritional facts if you’re interested. You can see that it’s not really healthy, but it’s just a decent bread.
The bread on the right (Dave’s Killer Bread, thin sliced) is the bomb! It’s full of all kinds if good stuff, it’s hearty and filling and the thin-sliced is only 80 calories per slice!
Here’s the deets on that bread if you’re interested!
That bread in the bottom of the picture is just classic Naan bread. Not healthy at all, but super yummy! I love to make my Indian Butter Chicken and then make garlic naan bread on the side. My kids love it too!
It also freezes well. Bonus!
Here’s one more bread that I LOVE from Costco!
This bread is amazing folks! First off, it’s shelf stable. I just bought this bread yesterday and it will stay good until February! So awesome!
I also love that it’s made from high quality, simple ingredients and it tastes amazing. It’s THEE perfect thing to have on hand to add to dinner. It takes 10 minutes to bake in the oven and it tastes like homemade fresh bread.
My kids always love it when I make it! I love it because if I happen to make a healthy dinner that isn’t particularly my kid’s favorite….I can add this bread on the side and then they hardly complain about the “healthy dinner!” Win, win!
Oh and here’s the nutrition facts for it! Look at that ingredient list! I love how basic it is.
Okay, moving on from bread….
I love this chicken broth and I love Costco’s rotisserie chickens!
This chicken broth is nothing fancy, but I love that it comes in a 12 pack and I love that it’s lower in sodium. It’s great to have on hand!
I also love that Costco’s rotisserie chickens are HUGE and only five bucks! Seriously amazing! I love to buy one, take all the chicken off the bones and then store it in the fridge for a quick and easy protein source.
Kev and I love having it on hand and even my kids reach for it when they’re looking for a quick and healthier snack. I also love to use it in so many recipes! Soups, stews, enchiladas, pot pie, sandwiches, whatever!
I usually keep it in the fridge for about 4 days and then if we haven’t used it up by then, I throw it in the freezer. Then, I’ll just use it in recipes down the road.
Such an awesome, easy and cheap thing!
I also gotta share that this is my absolute favorite chicken broth/stock from Costco,
It’s unsalted, high in protein and full of flavor! I prefer this over the Swanson cans of chicken broth, but I like having both on hand. Sometimes I only need a cup or two of chicken broth so I’ll prefer to use the smaller cans.
Um, this Victoria White Linen sauce is the yummiest marinara sauce on the planet folks. I’m not kidding!
I could just eat it with a spoon! It’s so so good, made from very simple ingredients and it’s ON SALE right now at Costco. Score!
I love this Simply Heinz ketchup,
I’ve been buying it at Walmart for years, so I was so happy when Costco started carrying it! It’s made from very basic ingredients and doesn’t have any high fructose corn syrup in it!
Also, I’ve been buying those Oakdell Omega-3 eggs for years. They taste great, aren’t terribly expensive and I love that they are cage free, have Omega-3s and they’re LOCAL!
I love, love, love these Power Greens!
It’s just a beautiful mix of organic kale, chard and spinach. I love throwing it in my protein shakes and I cannot taste it at all! I also LOVE that this freezes so well. I just store it in my freezer and when I make a shake, I just pour some in! It is awesome!
I’m a HUGE fan of protein shakes and the simplicity, portability and insane nutrition they offer. These Power Greens help to make my shakes uber healthy and full of good stuff!
Um, these are so dang good guys…..
Aaaaand, they’re on sale right now at Costco! It’s like $6+ for this huge bag! It’s the perfect little sweet treat to have on hand and it’s made from awesome ingredients.
Ya know, sometimes I just want a small taste of something sweet and these Dark Chocolate Nuggets are perfect for that! I still have to remind myself to exercise some self control and not eat the whole bag though!
I LOVE Veggie Straws! They taste so good, they totally satisfy my salty cravings and the serving size is huge, 38 straws!
Now, even though they are called “Veggie Straws,” they not really healthy. I just like to think of them as a yummy snack that’s relatively low in calories. I can grab a small handful of 10-15 straws and it’s like 50 calories.
I also LOVE Costco’s apples! They always taste great, are fresh and crisp and are a good price. I also love that their organic apples are a great price as well!
In fact, I love all of Costco’s produce!
I buy this Spring Mix on occasion and it’s great. I love that it’s organic, a good price and so easy to use in salads, sandwiches, wraps or throw in my protein shakes.
I also LOVE their pineapples! They are always huge and cheap (I think ~$3.) I love these organic English cucumbers too! They are perfect as an easy, healthy snack or I like to throw them in my protein shakes too!
I also love Costco’s berries!!! SO MUCH!
I love their strawberries when they are in season and I love their raspberries and blueberries. They usually offer organic berries as well, although I typically buy the non organic variety.
I also love these Go-Gurt Simple yogurts. I love that they are lower in sugar and made from simple ingredients. My kids love to grab them as an after school snack or I like to add them to their lunchboxes.
I also love Costco’s Kirkland turkey! It’s nitrate/nitrite free and tastes awesome!
I’ve shared my love of collagen peptides before, but the price at Costco CANNOT be beat!
This huge canister of Vital Proteins is ON SALE right now for like $23!! A smaller 20 oz container of these same collagen peptides sells for $43 on Amazon! Crazy!
I like to mix a scoop in a small glass of water and drink it before I go to bed at night. When I remember to do this consistently I really do notice my skin seems smoother and my wrinkles minimized. I also notice my nails are stronger too!
Heck, even if the collagen peptides don’t even “work,” I like that each scoop offers nine grams of protein! So there’s that!
I just bought this riced Cauliflower stir-fry recently, but I haven’t tried it yet.
It looked awesome though and I’m excited to try it out. Check out the ingredients…
Let’s hope it tastes great!
I also bought those Spinach and Mozzarella raviolis recently because they were on sale. They’re not particularly healthy, but I love that they are made from real ingredients and they are so quick and easy to make.
It’s the perfect quick meal to make on the weekend and all of my kids love it!
Well, that’s all I will share for now! There are certainly A LOT more things that I love at Costco. I’m always discovering new things and they never disappoint!
I hope you are all enjoying your Thursday. I love you all!
Leave a comment....I would love to hear from you!
