SweatGuru: a Wonderful Online Fitness Resource

December 17, 20138 Comments

Over the past year, I’ve had the opportunity to be a “Sweat Pink Ambassador” for a health and fitness community called Fit Approach.  As an ambassador, I’ve been able to connect and associate with a fantastic group of fitness enthusiasts, health nuts and like-minded women.

The founders of Fit Approach, Jamie Walker and Alyse Mason-Brill, have recently started another fitness related website that I think you guys will love!

It’s a wonderful resource for fitness enthusiasts AND fitness professionals called SweatGuru.

Sweat Guru Logo
SweatGuru lets people search for, discover and sign up for fitness classes online.  When visiting the SweatGuru website, you can easily find nearby classes by using the convenient search box.

SweatGuru Main Page

You can also use SweatGuru to:

  • Share classes with friends and invite them to join you via your social networks.
  • Stay organized!  You can keep track of your attendance, classes and favorites all in one place.
  • Earn “points” for rewards such as healthy snacks, fitness gear and gift cards to Lululemon.  I love it!

SweatGuru Rewards

SweatGuru is also an amazing resource for fitness professionals.  It can help fitness instructors, Personal Trainers and studios attract new clients and grow their business immediately.  It also allows them to market and schedule their classes online, collect payments and easily stay in touch with their clients.

Fitness pros can list their classes for free or pay a small monthly fee to enjoy features such as online payment,  scheduling and analytics.

SweatGuru also has an incredible Blog section that offers great workouts, fitness advice, workout music, etc.  It’s full of valuable information, so be sure to check it out.

Currently SweatGuru is mainly offered in the San Francisco, New York City and Los Angeles areas, but it’s growing quickly!  Make sure to check back often as new classes are added all the time.

Very cool. Once it has lots of cities it will be great for people who are traveling and don’t know about classes or gyms where they are.

SweatGuru sounds super awesome, especially for people wanting to grow their business. I really think that is cool about looking up fitness classes in certain areas, especially if you are out of town. Oh and by the way, I shared your blog with my friends on my personal facebook page. I figured others would love to follow you too 🙂
