Well, so far I’ve done pretty well in 2012. I’ve been able to exercise every day but Sunday and I’ve kept a pretty healthy diet for the most part. However, today was a very weird eating day. I started the day off great with a bowl of oatmeal w/ chopped apples, 1 T. ground flax and 1 T. Protein Powder. I also had 3 scrambled egg whites topped w/ low-carb ketchup on the side (sorry, no pic.) I love that meal! It’s yummy, healthy, and filling! A Perfect Christmas Eve
I LOVE Christmas Eve….almost as much as Christmas! We had a great day. I sorta kinda got to sleep in. Yay. It was more like a “lay in bed and veg”, but it was very nice. I then had my favorite pre-exercise meal. A Banana w/ Peanut Butter! Yum! Then……I WENT ON A RUN!!!!!!!! Yes folks, I’m so excited about it! Livin’ the Low Carb Life!
Well, I have successfully completed day 2 of my little low-carb diet! Yay! It hasn’t been easy, but it really hasn’t been too hard either (I know, my opinion may change in a few weeks!) Over the weekend, I wrote out my diet “plan” for the upcoming week. I basically chose 2 breakfasts and 2 lunches to switch between and then chose a dinner for each night. I’ve been wanting to hop on here and do a quick blog post for days!!! We’ve been crazy and I’m worried that this “crazy” is the new “normal.” Eeeek. However, the kids are back in school. I love them very much, but…. WAHOOO! I get to have a somewhat organized and scheduled life again. Phewwww. With this new found organization and schedule, I’m feeling particularly motivated. Sorry guys, I’ve been a little MIA… *********************** I just dropped off my 12 year old for his first day of Middle School this morning!! I’m kind of freaking out. Time flies, ya know???
