I’m still patiently impatiently waiting for baby to arrive! I’ve become quite paranoid and suspicious of every little ache and pain, but so far nothing’s happening. 🙁
We’ve had a lot of fun things going on the past few days though. Today is my sweet husband’s birthday and tomorrow is our 18th wedding anniversary! I’m actually hoping baby doesn’t come today or tomorrow so he can have his own “special” day. We’ll see.
Soooo, as long as baby doesn’t decide to arrive tonight, Kev and I are planning on going on a date! Fun.
I just have to say that I am SO GRATEFUL every single day for the man I married. He is amazing and I just feel so blessed to have him in my life.
I was talking to my little sister a couple weeks ago and I was telling her how much I loved and appreciated my sweet husband. I told her that one of the things I love most about him is that he is SO kind, gentle, calm, humble and sweet (yes, he balances me out!), but he is definitely NOT shy, passive or a pushover. He is an extremely hard worker and a very strong, effective and influential leader.
My sister then said, “He sounds just like Jesus!” I had to laugh and then said, “Why yes, he does!” Kev didn’t quite know what to think when I told him about our conversation, lol!
I love my husband. 😉

Another exciting thing going on ’round here is my 15 year old got his braces off yesterday!
He had his braces on for over 2 1/2 years, so he was VERY happy to get them off! Woo hoo!

I’m also excited and happy that my blog was mentioned in a recent article for the Huffington Post titled, “8 Snacking Habits of Healthy, Busy People.”
I was grateful they included me in it! If you’re interested in reading the article, just click on the image above or you can find it here. 😉

Some of my sweet friends, threw a causal baby shower for me yesterday. Isn’t that so nice? Since this is my SIXTH baby and FIFTH boy, they called it a “diaper and meal shower” and everyone brought me diapers or freezer meals.
As the shower was ending, I snapped a quick picture with some of my friends.
Yes, I have the sweetest friends ever.
Oh, and I also took my 39 Week Pregnant picture a couple days ago. I’m hoping there WON’T be a 40 week picture, lol!
Yes, I’m pretty much wearing the same three dresses these days. I’ve really, really loved my maxi dresses from Old Navy. They are so comfortable and ALWAYS fit!

I also wanted to tell you guys about a VERY FUN package we received in the mail last week. Under Armour sent a fun Back-to-School package for my three youngest boys and they were THRILLED!
They sent each of them a wonderful backpack FULL of darling clothes from their new Back-to-School youth collection.
I’m sure my boys wouldn’t call the clothes “darling,” but I DO! I’m absolutely in love with everything that was sent!
It felt just like Christmas at our house.
They were each sent a pair of the CUTEST COOLEST shoes ever!
Love, love, love! They are so well made and comfortable. My kids have loved them!
Here are some of the other cute things that were sent.
I LOVE that the shoes are color coordinated to match the outfits clothes! Adorable!
My boys especially LOVED the nice hoodies that were sent…
These hoodies are AMAZING folks. They are SO SOFT inside, but the fabric on the outside is designed to keep them dry too. I love them so much. My 6 year old has worn his hoodie EVERY day since it arrived…..and it’s 90+ degrees outside, lol.
I love Under Armour so much! The quality, function, durability and style is second to none. My boys also love how comfortable and breathable everything is. The prices are very reasonable too! They are the perfect back-to-school clothes! I’m a happy mom.
Well, that’s the latest on our crazy lives. I sure hope my next post will be about the arrival of our baby boy!!! Fingers crossed.
I hope you all have a wonderful night!
