Well, it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas ’round here!
Wow! It’s pretty much been snowing all weekend long! This picture actually doesn’t do it justice because a lot of the snow already melted. The temperature was actually in the 70’s earlier this week. Crazy, crazy!
I love it though and I’ve been listening to Christmas music all weekend long! Fun.

I went to Winco the other day and scored some great deals! I love Winco. Their produce is not the best, but they have an AWESOME bulk foods section. They have every kind of healthy flour, nut, seed, etc. you can imagine! They also have fresh almond butter, peanut butter and honey. It’s pretty sweet! Anyway, here are a few things I got especially good deals on,
Chia Seed (I paid $8.92/lb. and it’s usually $10-$15/lb. everywhere else), Unsweetened Coconut (I paid $3.03/lb. and it’s usually $4-$5/lb. everywhere else) and of course, Dark Chocolate Chips! Guittard is one of my favorite brands and it’s usually about $3.00 per bag. I got these for $1.78! LOVE IT!
I also scored a major deal on chicken!
That has got to be the grossest picture ever, but I just had to share! I got all this chicken (~14 pounds!) at $1.24/lb!

I need to go back and get some more I think. I just cut it all up into individual pieces, cut off all the fat and then put it in freezer bags. Awesome.
I also got several other great deals like Unsweetened Almond Milk for $2.50, a pound of strawberries for $1.00 and canned Green Giant veggies for $.48 a can!
I love a good deal!
I also have to share one more thing that I LOVE! It doesn’t have a whole lot to do with health and fitness, but it does help with my mental health!
Total cheese ball picture, I know. I just have to say that Finish dishwashing detergent is the best EVER! Random, yes. But, I just love it so much that I had to share.
We live in an area with terribly hard water! When we first moved here about 5 years ago, I was so frustrated because although we had a water softener, I could not get our dishes clean!! Auuughh. It seriously made me so sad and it stressed me out probably more than it should have.
Anyway, I started using Finish dishwashing detergent (which I buy at Costco at an awesome price!) and it has changed everything. I also add a little bit of vinegar to every load as well, btw (I add it after it’s been running for a minute or two.) Anyway, my dishes are awesome and my sanity has returned!
Oh and btw, Cascade makes a similar product and it DOES NOT WORK! Finish kicks Cascade’s tail. Oh, and I’m not getting paid to endorse their product. I just like to share the things I LOVE with all of you!!
Well, I’m actually going to go to the Jazz game tonight with my parents and my uncle. It should be a lot of fun. I gotta get ready to go!
