This morning I pulled out the last Protein Pancake from the freezer and cooked up some scrambled eggs for breakfast. Yum!
Sadly, I was all out of berries, so I just topped my pancake with some peanut butter, banana slices and a little sugar-free syrup. Everything tasted great.
I’m happy to say I also went to Costco today and loaded up on a bunch of fresh produce, including berries. YAY! I’m especially happy they had a big ol’ container of blueberries for only $6.99.
Bring on summer!!!
I plan to stock my freezer up with a bunch of protein pancakes tomorrow so I can enjoy them with the fresh berries I bought. LOVE.
I made a yummy, simple salad for lunch today….
I just chopped up a bunch of fresh, crisp romaine lettuce and topped it with tomatoes, green onions, grilled chicken (leftover in the freezer) and Tzatziki.
This salad tasted SO good to me. For some reason I’ve craved crisp lettuce and green onions lately.
Super weird.
I was also happy to eat the other half of my son’s PB&J that he left on his plate…
I really kind of love Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches. I also must say that this jam is pretty tasty…
It almost tastes like homemade and is made from simple, real ingredients. Score.

I also wanted to tell you guys about the cute Fabletics clothes I received recently. I shared this pic with y’all a week or two ago…
They sent me the Forward Tee (in Dark Grey), 2 pairs of Suva Run Shorts (in Dark Pink/Dark Grey & Azure Bloom/Twilight), the Caluma Crop pants (in black), the Embra Tank (in white) and the Lima Capri (in black.)
I love everything SO much! Sadly, I can’t wear everything right now because it just doesn’t look cute on my pregnantness, but I know these items will be staples in my workout wardrobe after baby is here.
The Forward Tee is the perfect causal thing to wear to the gym and would be flattering on anyone. It would also work well as a coverup. Heck, it’s just a cute t-shirt and could be worn as a regular day-to-day shirt too!
I love how lightweight it is and the cute unfinished edges and stitching.
I love, love, love the cute Suva Run shorts. They’re super comfy and not too short. I don’t know about y’all, but I’ve seen some pretty scary MEGA short running shorts out there! I’m talking “bum cheeks hanging out the bottom” kind of short. Yes, it’s not cute or flattering….on anyone!
These shorts are just perfect. They’re also not too tight or too baggy.
I love them and am sure I’ll wear them all the time. I also love the cute stitching and detail as well.
I love, love, love, love, LOVE the Caluma crop pants! I wear them all the time, even as a pregnant lady. 🙂
They are super comfy and made from the coolest fabric ever. They’re really lightweight and kind of stretchy. I seriously love them so much!

The only thing that’s a little weird about these pants is the drawstring on the legs. You can cinch them up around the legs and it looks super cute, but they come “un-cinched” pretty quickly. There isn’t a “cord stay thingy” to keep them cinched up. You can click here to see a closer pic on the Fabletics website if you like.
I’m planning on purchasing some cord clamp things to keep them in place. I love every other thing about these pants though and I just saw that Fabletics now sells them in a cute green color too!
The Embra tank is a great basic tank that goes with anything. I love the darling cutout in the back…
I know I will wear this ALL the time. White spandex is just not cute on a pregnant lady though, dang it.
The Lima capri is seriously one of my most favorite capris ever. They are thick, well made and super soft. They also have cute stitching detail on the waist and on the legs…

I wish Fabletics would come to Canada. The clothes are so nice for such reasonable prices. The fact that they feel good to wear also tells me of the good quality.

I have been doing the salad thing a lot, too. I love when we have left-over grilled chicken or steak that I can add – my boys think it’s weird that I put it on cold!

I got my first shipment of Fabletics last month and I was not happy with the Lima capris. I bought mediums because i’m still losing weight from my last pregnancy and they will not stay up! I plan on getting a small pair to see if those stay on better, but the mediums literally end up with the crotch down around my knees in about 10 minutes. i was rather disappointed. I had read the reviews very carefully to figure out what size would work best. I’ll probably give them a few more opportunities but I wasn’t too impressed with the shirt on the first shipment either.

It’s very different. There were three unique aspects that I loved. First, that they recommend you an outfit each month based on your personal profile. Second, that you’re never obligated to buy anything. Third, their prices are reasonable. I’m so glad you introduced me!

I’ve heard a lot of people say that Fabletics doesn’t have the things they want in stock, dang it. They’re still a new company, so I’m sure that will improve over time. I’ve really loved everything they’ve sent….can’t wait until I fit in it though, lol!
