Well, I have been so sad, heartbroken and just sick about the shooting in Las Vegas a couple of days ago. 🙁 I just keep watching the news or reading stories on the internet about these people who’s lives are now forever changed.  My heart hurts for them.  I will never understand what drives people to do these types of things???  The only thing I can think of is that people who do these things are absolute psychopaths and that is why I will never understand it! My Challenge is Over + A Fresh Homemade Salsa Recipe

Well hey folks!  I’m so happy to say that my Oxygen Challenge ended last Friday!  Woot!! I’m so glad I did it!  It was great, I learned so much and I’m happy with my results!  I plan on doing a separate post all about it, but for now I’ll just share some of my final results. I got my body fat analysis done at Complete Nutrition at the start of this challenge and then again at the end.  It’s really a great thing to do and is so informative! The Home Stretch + Low Carb Protein Pancakes

Well guys, I’m finally nearing the end of my Oxygen Magazine Challenge!  Woot!  This past Monday (September 4th) was the 12 week mark!  However, the challenge “officially” ends this Saturday, the 9th.  HOWEVER, they are allowing us to submit our “after” pictures up until next Friday, the 15th! Once upon a time…I was a legit blogger!  Gah!  I’ve been strugglin’ folks. 🙁 However, school started this week and it’s been such a good thing for all of us!  I love my kids, but MAN, I feel like I can actually think again.  I can actually get stuff done.  I can actually clean the house and have it stay clean for longer than 5 minutes!  I can actually sit for a minute and enjoy a little bit of quiet.  It’s really been great. A Family Reunion, Still Going Strong + Some Progress Pictures!

Well, life is ever so slowly starting to calm down just a bit. Hallelujah! We’ve had a fun summer, but man, this past month has been busy! Last weekend, we went up to Oregon for a family reunion with Kev’s family. We had a lot of fun and it was so nice to see everyone. There were about 65 people there, so we spent the days hanging out at a nearby farm. The kids absolutely loved it!
