As I was driving to the gym yesterday, I had a very cheesy thought. I actually felt overwhelmed with gratitude that I am able to exercise and that I have a wonderful gym to go to with wonderful instructors that I love! Sounds cheesy, I know. Healthy Livin’
Well I’m happy to report that after much kicking and screaming, I finally got my 5 mile treadmill dreadmill run in the other night. I really was not looking forward to hopping on that thing, but I got’er done! Yay! I don’t know why I dread the treadmill so much. I just really really love running outside, I guess. It seems like when I’m on the treadmill, I can’t stop looking at the display. Identifying Areas of Improvement
Well, for the most part I’ve had a very good week. Yay. I ate really well all week except for one meal I had last night. Kev and I went on an impromptu date to TGI Friday’s. Very fun. We ended up ordering a couple appetizers to share. It was yummy, but sadly I wasn’t even all that hungry!? I left there stuffed and bugged that I ate crappy food. Oh well. Live and learn, I guess. Healthier Macaroni and Cheese
K, I told y’all I made homemade Mac and Cheese the other night. Yummy, yum, yum. I really love it. It’s fairly quick and easy to make and most of my kids love it too. It’s actually my mom’s recipe. She made it for us when we were kids and it was one of my favs! I just substituted healthier ingredients for everything. It still has cheese (of course!) and a little butter, but I guarantee it is 10 bazillion times better for you than anything you can buy in a box! Blah. So here ya go…..
