A Family Reunion, Still Going Strong + Some Progress Pictures!

Well, life is ever so slowly starting to calm down just a bit. Hallelujah! We’ve had a fun summer, but man, this past month has been busy! Last weekend, we went up to Oregon for a family reunion with Kev’s family. We had a lot of fun and it was so nice to see everyone. There were about 65 people there, so we spent the days hanging out at a nearby farm. The kids absolutely loved it! Fun Stuff + Finally Seeing Some Results

Happy Saturday everyone! We’ve had some fun things going on this week.  First off, these two cute kiddos of mine went to Prom last night…. I cannot believe how quickly they are growing up!!!  It is absolutely mind boggling to me.  It hurts my heart. 🙁 This was my daughter’s first formal high school dance and it will be my son’s last.  My son’s darling friend asked my daughter to the dance, so they all went in the same group together.  I was so happy about that! Making This Plan a Lifestyle + Learning to Be Patient

Well folks, I’m still going strong with my “Extreme Transformation” diet/challenge and I’m loving it.  I’m two weeks in and quite frankly, I can see myself sticking with it (more or less) for a very long time. I will say that the first week, I followed it to a T.  I made a lot of the recipes in the book, ate 5 small meals a day, tracked everything in My Fitness Pal and stuck to my guns. My Wacky Body and a Very Simple Dinner

Soooo, last night I had a dream that I was at a bakery eating the most delicious pastries and donuts ever.  Ha ha!
